Frequently asked questions

What is Existence Compiler?+

It is an analysis system that takes your project URL and generates an actionable report about its digital presence: metadata, Open Graph, Schema.org, llms.txt, trust signals, and semantic structure.

What is the Digital Existence Score?+

It is a score from 0 to 100 that measures the current level of digital existence of your project. It considers technical presence, semantic clarity, AI readability, trust signals, and distribution readiness.

Does it guarantee traffic, sales, or indexing?+

No. Existence Compiler diagnoses and suggests technical, semantic, and narrative improvements. It does not guarantee traffic, sales, indexing, ranking, or virality. Improving discoverability conditions does not guarantee results.

Can't I do this with ChatGPT?+

ChatGPT can generate metadata suggestions if you paste your HTML. It cannot crawl your live site, validate robots.txt, check HTTP headers, detect exposed files, compute a reproducible score, and produce a structured, exportable Fix Pack — automatically, on any URL, in seconds. ChatGPT output is also a conversation: it doesn't produce a structured report you can track over time, compare across runs, and share with a link.

Is this SEO?+

Not exactly. SEO tools work on projects that already have traffic, backlinks, and ranking history. Existence Compiler works before that: when your project is new, technically incomplete, or simply invisible. We audit metadata, semantic structure, AI readability, trust signals, and distribution readiness — the foundation that makes SEO possible.

Do you guarantee AI recommendations or citations?+

No. We can't guarantee that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or any LLM will cite or recommend your project. What we do is improve the technical conditions that make your project readable and citable by AI systems. The outcome depends on factors outside this tool's control.

Which pages does it analyze?+

In the current MVP it analyzes the main page of the entered URL. It also checks for robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and common pages (about, pricing, faq, docs, blog, contact). It does not do deep crawling for performance and security reasons.

Is it free?+

The base scan (Free Scan) is completely free and requires no account. Compile Once is a $9 one-time upgrade that unlocks the full report, Fix Pack, snippets, llms.txt output, and exports.

Does it store my data?+

Existence Compiler stores minimal analysis metadata server-side to enable before/after comparisons: URL, score, timestamp and a compact report summary. Shared reports are stored with a 30-day TTL. It does not store raw HTML, full page text, or unnecessary crawl payloads. No account is required for the free analysis flow.

Does it work with SPAs or React/Vue/Angular apps?+

The analysis may be incomplete if the site is a SPA that requires JavaScript to render content. The system indicates when it detects this case.

What is llms.txt?+

It is a simple text file that helps AI systems understand and summarize your project. Similar to robots.txt but oriented toward agents and AI. Existence Compiler generates a suggested version that you can publish at the root of your site.

Does it use AI for analysis?+

The main analysis is deterministic (rule-based). AI semantic enrichment is optional and requires an Anthropic API key. If no key is configured, the system runs in deterministic mode.
